Special Needs Children with Jesus Artwork

Artist Statement:

Does your church have a Special Needs group? Our parish does, and they asked me to create a painting of Jesus and children with special needs that highlights the text of Matthew 19:14, "...Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." I love picturing Jesus as that favorite uncle in our family circles...the one that kids tackle with love, full of joy when in his presence. This piece is 5"x7".
