Artist Statement:

With a well-known quote of St Catherine of Siena, "Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire," this is a fantastic gift for a graduation, confirmation, new job - or anyone needing inspiration!

Filled with whimsical design elements, this illustration captures the true meaning of St Catherine's words: the love of God is a fire that can illuminate our world, person by person.

Drawn by hand with India ink pens, I then added color with watercolor and art markers. The original commissioned piece was 12x16. I used colors to match the set of 2 other St Catherine paintings - this is an amazing "center piece" for that set!
