City on a Hill, Let Your Light Shine Artwork

Artist Statement:

"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden..." I received a request to illustrate these well-loved verses from Matthew 5:14-16, and it was perfect timing for the start of the school year. Being and spreading LIGHT is our goal, no matter where we are! Teacher, student, parent, public school or homeschool or private school - let's let our light shine this year! This commission came with a second request - to please use colors and style to create a companion piece to the Suscipe prayer by St. Ignatius of Loyola
